Grow your story

Extend your reach

What’s your story?

We help organizations answer an important question: Who are you? You might think this is straightforward – a hospital, a bank, a seller of animal health products. But that’s what you do. Who you are speaks to the spirit with which you do what you do.

Don’t just tell your audience who you are–show them, through dynamic and engaging media content.

Strategic Storytelling

Strategic storytelling is all about making lasting connections. Stories are how we relate, stories are how we learn, stories are how we grow.

Creative Strategy

Creative work can be subjective, but it should never be haphazard. Ideas should be developed to meet objectives, not the other way around.

Video Production

Social Media has made video content more accessible than ever–but not all content is created equal. The quality of your videos will influence how people perceive the quality of your busienss.

Motion Graphics

Animation is a sophisticated way to provide information and tell your story. It has become my most-requested service, and I’d love to show you why.

Copywriting

From press releases, to email flows, to taglines, to video scripts–if it’s intended for an audience, it should be written by a professional.

Audio production

It’s not just radio commercials anymore. Podcasts have become one of the most requested services over the past two years, and I love producing (and listening to) them.

Two recent projects:

How does it work?

Like most great stories, the process follows the Three Act Structure:

k

Act I: The Setup

The Setup is where the main characters (you and me!) are introduced, problems and challenges are identified, and an action plan for working toward success is laid out.

Act II: The Journey

The Journey is where we hit the ground running: finding the path to success, overcoming obstacles, and doing the hard work necessary to get you where you want to go.

Act III: The Resolution

The Resolution. The Climax. The Celebration. Whatever you want to call it, it’s time to put everything we’ve built together to good use out in the world.

Brand Stories. Personal Stories.

I can help you find yours.

Brand Stories.

Stories are what connect us, they’re what help us to relate and build relationships with one another. This is just as true for businesses and organizations as it is for individuals. But finding your story isn’t always as easy as you might think, and the best place to start in determining which ones to tell is to figure out who you want to tell them to.

Take the Wayne County Historical Museum, for instance. How can you choose which story to share with people when you have a thousand to choose from? The answer is that you can’t, and that’s the real story.

Or AIG. How can we use stories to talk about corporate culture? Sometimes a little bit of color and whimsy can help.

Personal Stories.

Personal stories often speak to more than just the individual–they speak to our shared human experience. A favorite of mine is this incredible story about how renowned Dominican musician Pavel Polanco-Safadit learned to play the piano–with the help of a local pastor and one very devoted grandfather.

Another favorite of mine is Malcolm Brown‘s story about his journey to a new state for a new job, and how meeting a coworker led to an unexpected bond over vinyl records.

What stories do you have? What stories would you love to be able to share with your friends? Your family? With future generations?
